What is ASL dinner? It is a social event where a group of people meets for dinner at a local restaurant in DC regions. The group may consist of both deaf people and hearing people who want to practice their sign language, make new friends or just plain socialize. Sign language students and parents of deaf children especially enjoy going to signing ASL dinner asit gives them a chance to practice their skills in a relaxed environment and to interact with members of the deaf community. A monthly listing of restaurants in the Washington DC metro area where hearing and deaf signers meet and socialize and enjoy food will be given out. Please come and enjoy!
